Herbatint, the first natural alternative hair colouring gel, is free of harsh chemicals and ammonia. It incorporates proteins, botanicals and natural vegetal extracts - nutrients that give hair its deep, natural shine and vibrant, healthy colour. Herbatint provides nourishment, protection and conditioning to both the hair and scalp, offering a safe, gentle and effective way of covering normal grey hair with just one application. For medium to short hair, the contents should allow enough for two applications.

Herbatint lightens hair by one or two tones without hurting the hair structure. To use, apply only on dry hair. In a plastic or glass container, combine equal amounts of Herbatint with the glycol developer (included in pack), ensuring the mixture is thoroughly blended before application. Put on the gloves (also included in pack).

For non-treated hair, apply the colour mixture onto the dry hair, making sure the hair shaft from root to end is fully covered. Wait for 40 minutes. For previously dyed or permed hair, first apply a portion of the mixture on the dry roots, wait 30 minutes, then apply the remaining mixture onto the rest of the hair. Wait an additional 10 minutes.

Rinse out the Herbatint mixture thoroughly with water until the rinse water is clear, then wash the hair using a natural pH shampoo such as Herbavita Normalising Shampoo. Next, apply a natural pH conditioner such as Royal Cream, wait 5 minutes, and rinse again.

Caution: Glycol contains hydrogen peroxide. All Herbatint products, except the Flash Fashion Range, contain diaminobenzene resorcinol. Avoid contact with eyes, as this product may cause skin irritation for certain individuals. A preliminary patch test should be conducted prior to each application. This product must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows. If the mixture comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with cool water.
